A Reasonable Motive

Dokyeong, an actor who began his career as an idol. Strong-willed and the type to pay back one hit with two, Dokyeong has a tense relationship with Cheolwon, his colleague and longtime rival, who looks down on him and keeps his distance because Dokyeong never graduated. After being provoked by Cheolwon, Dokyeong decides to return to university. Meanwhile… “I’ll never have anything to do with a man who wears makeup again.” Jaeni, a photography student and fan of actor Cheolwon, was the one who took the legendary photo that once caused a sensation online. However, after an unpleasant incident, she ends up giving up on being his fan altogether. Feeling empty and determined to focus on her own life again, Jaeni also chooses to return to university. And so, on the very same day and at the very same time, two legendary returning students make their comeback at Pyeonghwa University. Dokyeong and Jaeni seem connected somehow… and yet, not at all. But when they meet in the same class, their paths begin to intertwine in a completely unexpected way… **Original Webtoon:** [KakaoPage](https://page.kakao.com/content/70418935/), [Daum](https://webtoon.kakao.com/content/%EA%B7%B8%EB%9F%B4%EB%A7%8C%ED%95%9C-%EB%8F%99%EA%B8%B0/4954) Alternative Names: - A Motive That Makes Sense - Sufficient Motivation - 그럴만한 동기
