A Loser's Love

A man who has never experienced the warmth of affection finds himself consumed by an obsession with a user named “Cocorose” in an anonymous group chat. To a man whose existence in a cramped gosiwon is already hanging by a thread, a single emoticon was enough to stroke his vanity, and a solitary delusion was enough to shatter his reality. The moment he misinterpreted an anonymous woman’s message as a sign of love, his bottom-tier youth began its descent into total catastrophe. Now, he is trapped in a collision between the woman from his daily life and the one from the digital shadows. It wasn’t truly love he was seeking, but a sense of salvation. This is the chronicle of a “trash-tier” romance, ignited by the desperate fantasies of a man with nothing left to lose.
